Bahá’ís of Paradise Valley

In Paradise Valley, Bahá’ís and their friends are engaged in a community building process that cultivates love and translates it into action. Community members are involved in Study Circles, Devotional Gatherings and Dialogue and Discourse on Racism. The Bahá’ís of Paradise Valley initiated a proposal to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., National Holiday in conjunction with local officials in the Town of Paradise Valley. An Award was established to honor those working for harmony, justice, unity and diversity in society. In conjunction with local schools, an Essay Contest engages students–our future leaders–in dialogue about the vision of Dr. King, the promotion of unity and the tackling of racism as a most vital and challenging issue facing America.
